Here is a fabulous set of antique (2) Gates and (2) matching sides. All four pieces are a total of 16.58 feet long. I am not quite sure of the date on this design. I have seen similar designs in the Victorian era but also the Art Deco period. Whichever era it is one of the most unusual you will find. The design has birds (Whooping Cranes I'm almost positive) catching insects or drinking water out of a flower in a garden setting. You also have grapes and grape leaves and the other design details which you can still see quite good. Some of the original paint colors white, green, and blue are still vivid. I was going to use these here at my shop so I had some rust places repaired . The welder spot welded a few places on the bottom gate and a spot on one of the sides. After learning they were just two long for where I needed them I just couldn't bring myself to have them cut. So my loss will definitely be your gain. These are truly one of a kind, and a work of art that we no longer see. I would love to have met the artistic person that created these works of art and who lived behind these gates. SIZE: GATES: each gate is22 " wide 23" Including the hing x 36" tall SIDES: each side is 23" wide. 56" tall.. so all the way across you have 90 inches. and figure 1 inch between each piece for spacing so you need approximately 96 inches of space, 7.88 feet. CONDITION: These are in good shape for their years, they are straight and not bent. They have signs of antique aging and worn paint, but will give you years and years of use. These gates are made out of cast-iron and a heavy hollow iron that CAN be welded. They ARE NOT the thin hollow metal we see on today's market that falls apart in 5 years. There is some light rusting but no through and through rust spots. I would add a coat of protective sealer if you're going to use them in a garden setting. As I stated I had the needed spots repaired so I could use them. I was going to use them across a concrete porch but they can be used anywhere. I would use a professional to have them anchored or installed. Thanks so much for looking, Jody. I always take before shipping pictures of your treasure and the package / container. SHIPPING: the shipping is free to standard normal residential addresses. If you live in the mountains, out in the desert, or some hard to get to location there may be a shipping up charge. Your treasure will be ready to ship in 3-5 days and will ship ground or private carrier shipping. Once I have a confirmed shipping carrier I will message you with confirmation information and schedule. Arrival date will depend on carrier and where you live. Once shipped I will message you with the tracking information so you can follow its journey.    Expedited shipping  and  or Extra insurance can be added  you just need to communicate with me before cart check out.         LOCATION PICKUP: If you live close to Tyler Texas and would like to pick up your treasure at my shop I will have it ready for pick up of course at no charge.
